Ocaso Music Festival, a new underground electronic music getaway on the iconic shores of Costa Rica, today has announced the line-up for its 2018 edition. Ocaso will return January 4-7th, bringing a luxurious yet authentic festival experience to Tamarindo Playa’s pristine Pacific coastline soundtracked by some of the world’s most sought after House and Techno artists.

Moving into its second edition, Ocaso has become a prime destination for the global underground elite, offering a who’s who billing of industry titans. Billings include the infamously secretive Claptone, West Coast house originator Doc Martin, iconic tastemaker Kenny Glasgow, Toronto’s tech-house champ Carlo Lio, Vatos Locos’ own HECTOR, Dirtybird’s German powerhouse Sacha Robotti, UK House maestro Huxley, Chicago house connoisseur Gene Farris, a full takeover from the party-starting Desert Hearts crew Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, MARBS, Porkchop, and RYBO, live sets from Rodriguez Jr and Tone Of Arc, and many more scene leading artists set to offer extended sets throughout the weekend.

During the day, the cultural hotbed of Tamarindo Playa will offer its authentic mix of adventure and rich cultural escape where attendees can find themselves snorkeling the breathtaking coral reefs, scuba diving with underwater wildlife, surfing Costa Rica’s world renowned breaks, racing ATVs, zip lining through gorgeous jungles, and hiking lush nature trails. For those traveling with an aim to relax, attendees are welcomed to indulge in the local cuisine, bars, spas and shopping. And of course as night rolls in the party begins and the festival takes over Tamarindo’s picturesque, oceanfront venues with its international musical programming.

In its short but impressive lifespan, Ocaso Festival is being recognized for crafting a truly unique festival experience and in turn supporting a Central American home for dance music’s underground. From techno infused Pacific sunrises to idyllic moments of cultural exploration, Ocaso will offer countless unforgettable memories for those with a keen sense of adventure and passion for electronic music.
